Antibacterial Coating

A major issue for the maintenance of infrastructure is the concentration of bacteria that can be found in public places such as public transport, hospitals, schools and offices.

With this special coating and antibacterial metal coating, the surface becomes aseptic after only 24 hours. This guarantees a low level of germs will remain on the surface the antibacterial coating has been applied to and absolute resistance to normal cleaning processes.

The new paint
It is a thermosetting powder paint with long-term antimicrobial effect. The antibacterial action is permanent (24h / 7 days) and effective until the applied covering film is intact. The product is tested and approved according to ISO 22196: 2007, it is free of heavy metals and has excellent resistance to chemical and atmospheric agents.

How does it work?
The new Verincolor antibacterial paint uses BioCote technology, with silver ions: particles able to bind themselves to microbes that contaminate surfaces, preventing them from breathing and reproducing.

Eliminates up to 99% of the most common viruses, bacteria, fungi and molds

How can you apply it?
The application can be done with a manual or automatic electrostatic Corona effect gun, or through a triboelectric system.

Where can you apply it?
Available in all colors and finishes, the new Verincolor antibacterial paint can be applied on all metal surfaces subjected to be touched by many people, such as ATMs and automatic ticket machines, transport and public services, handles and railings, laboratories and kitchens.
